研究興趣
My research interests are mainly in the optical and infrared astronomical instrumentation. I have worked on the wide field infrared camera (WIRCam) for CFHT and the Hyper SuprimeCam for the Subaru telescope. Currently, I am leading the OIR instrumentation group to work on SPIROU for CFHT and Prime Focus Spectrograph (PFS) for Subaru telescope. Meanwhile, I am the project manager of the Taiwan-America-Occultation Survey (TAOS) project and the Transneptunian Automated Occultation Survey (TAOS2) project. Also, I am involved in the development of SPace Infrared telescope for Cosmology and Astrophysics (SPICA) project through the collaboration with JAXA. I am also interested in the development of the quantum structure infrared detectors, especially the quantum dot infrared detectors. With Taiwanese company and research institute, I also worked on the infrared technology and the infrared focal plane arrays. development.
